Guides On any whitewater trip, the 'Guide Makes The Ride'.
Having confidence in your guides' skills and abilities greatly enhances your
outdoor experience. At Wahoo's we're extremely proud of our flawless safety
record...it's perfect! A distinction earned through hard work combined with
meticulous guide and river rescue training. The guides at Wahoo's are renown
for their experience, safety and rescue knowledge. Most of our guides have been
on our staff for years. They pride themselves as 'Teachers of the Outdoors',
offering knowledge, instruction and humor with a strong commitment to provide a
safe, thoroughly enjoyable, good time! Each Wahoo guide is certified in First
Aid and CPR...many have Advanced First Aid or higher certification. |
What to
bring... Plan on getting wet. Bring a
towel and change of clothing for after your trip. You should wear a T-shirt,
shorts or a bathing suit with sneakers or river shoes. On cold days bring wool
socks, sweater and cap. We provide paddling jackets at no extra charge...or
rent one of our wet suits which include boots, farmer-john body suit, jacket
and gloves. Don't forget the sun-block! Pictures and Souvenirs You can order pictures and
video of your adventure from our staff photographers...and purchase river
T-shirts and maps in our outfitter stores. Safety & Liability Our goal
is to provide the finest, most enjoyable adventures possible, while maintaining
the highest level of safety. It is your responsibility to evaluate your level
of fitness and to select a trip which is appropriate. Wahoo's Adventures
assumes no responsibility to you or your personal property. All guests must
sign a liability waiver before each trip.
Reservation
Policy River tours are on a state and federal allotment
basis...So there is limited space available. A 50% deposit (nonrefundable)
is required within 10 days of making the reservation. All balances must be paid
in full at least 30 days before the trip. Last minute reservations are gladly
accepted. No refunds will be made unless we receive written notification 45
days before the trip. We reserve the right to move trips to other rivers or
sections due to extreme water levels.
